If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, you probably know I am slightly, a little bit, completely in love with The CW’s Hart of Dixie so I’ve kind of been sweating The CW’s cancellation/renewal announcements because, quite honestly, it wasn’t looking great for Hart. The ratings haven’t been spectacular and sometimes in the TV game, the ratings are all that matter. Luckily that does not seem to be the cast with The CW because it has just been announced that my beloved Turtle Derby show will be back for another season. I’ll be updating again later tomorrow with more news about this season’s cancellations and renewals as well as some suggested watching for those of you interested but for now, I just wanted to revel in this wonderful moment.

Bristol Palin: Morality Expert

Dear Bristol Palin,

I have a bone to pick with you. I didn’t care much for you at first but over time, you won me over. You carried yourself like a mature, confident young woman with a sharp mind and a bright future. I wasn’t really a fan because you’ve yet to do anything that really warrants having fans but I didn’t object to you as strongly as I once did. I’d even go so far as to say I liked you.

This Week's Winner: Keegan Allen

This week’s profile was a birthday present come early for me in every possible way. Words can’t describe my love for Pretty Little Liars star Keegan Allen. He’s stunning. Although I like all of the men on last week’s poll, I was thrilled to not only see Keegan take the win but to see him take the win in such a big way. What an impressive win for Mr. Liam Hemsworth. Despite a truly impressive rally from fans of some of our other Candy Candidates last week, Liam managed to bring home his win with an impressive 73% of your votes. In fact, his percentage didn’t drop below 50% all week. While some of the other men on our poll did well and definitely had a lot of fan support, Liam was unstoppable. I’m very happy about that as I love me some Liam Hemsworth but I’m also a little sad. It’s time to say goodbye to some of last week’s candidates so we can add some new faces to the poll. This Week's Winner, One Tree Hill's James Lafferty

Let me start off this post by saying I’m absolutely thrilled One Tree Hill‘s James Lafferty won last week’s vote. I’m pleased as punch, whatever that means. Until I started doing research for his profile (which you can view by clicking here), I wasn’t familiar with James. I saw him (and loved him, for the record) in S. Darko, but had never seen One Tree Hill. When I saw the number of nominations James received and added him to the poll, I decided to check out some of his work. So I guess I’d like to take a minute to say thank you for turning me on to a whole new obsession before we dive into a little chit chat about some changes I feel I need to make this week.
