What an impressive win for Mr. Liam Hemsworth. Despite a truly impressive rally from fans of some of our other Candy Candidates last week, Liam managed to bring home his win with an impressive 73% of your votes. In fact, his percentage didn’t drop below 50% all week. While some of the other men on our poll did well and definitely had a lot of fan support, Liam was unstoppable. I’m very happy about that as I love me some Liam Hemsworth but I’m also a little sad. It’s time to say goodbye to some of last week’s candidates so we can add some new faces to the poll. So who will be here for another week, who is ending their run on the Candy Candidates poll and who  is making their debut? Read on to find out.

Yeah, that definitely takes a bit of the sting out. Okay, let’s talk about the vote. Liam’s impressive 73% take clearly put him miles ahead of the competition, but three of last week’s candidates will be moving forward to this week’s poll. That unfortunately means we’re going to be saying goodbye to a few of last week’s contestants as well and this one really breaks my heart as the men we say goodbye to are three of my all time favorites. Wes Bentley (3.58%), Tom Payne (2.48%) and Timothy Olyphant (1.1%) just didn’t get enough support to stick around. Don’t forget you can write them back in to next week’s poll. Candy Candidate Number One: Keegan Allen (Returning Nominee)

Keegan Allen held on to his second place title with 7.44% of the votes following a good but not quite good enough rally from his fans toward the end of last week’s poll.  This is Keegan’s third week on our Candy Candidate poll. Could this be his week to win? Not without your votes! I have to admit to having a soft spot for Keegan and am really hoping to see him stick around or, ya know, take the win.

Candy Candidate Number Two: James Van Der Beek (Returning Nominee)

James is another candidate who has done well in our poll but hasn’t quite rounded up enough support to take the win. He finished in third place in last week’s vote with 6.34% of your votes. If you loved James as Dawson on Dawson’s Creek or, like me, became a fan later in his career and if you want him to win a Man Candy Monday profile, you have to vote! Like Keegan, this is James’ third week on the poll.

Candy Candidate Number Three: Michael Pitt

I haven’t exactly been shy about sharing my deep, unending love for Michael Pitt so I’m positively thrilled that he earned enough votes to take our third and final spot for returning contestants with 6.06% of the vote. I don’t know how many times Michael has been on our Candy Candidates poll as he’s dropped off and returned a few times but I know he hasn’t yet won. Will this be his week? He’s got some pretty strong competition from last week’s candidates and our new additions.

Candy Candidate Number Four: Chris Hemsworth (Write-In Nominee via Twitter)

I had Chris on the Candy Candidate poll back when Thor was still in theaters but he didn’t earn enough votes to stick around. Perhaps things will go differently this time with The Avengers hitting it hard overseas and building more and more buzz in the US and Canada. I really have my fingers crossed for Chris on this one. He’s absolutely gorgeous and back to back Hemsworth wins would be a treat to write.

Candy Candidate Number Five: Colton Haynes (Write-In Nominee via Twitter)

I’m not familiar with Colton Haynes as I haven’t yet gotten around to watching Teen Wolf but I plan to correct that over the course of this week. This guy is adorable and, apparently, frequently shirtless which I’m definitely not going to complain about. I guess there was some sort of scandal floating around about Colton a while back but I’m not concerned. Sometimes a little scandal can be exciting, especially when they involve underwear pictures.

Candy Candidate Number Six: Josh Hutcherson (Write-In Nomination via Facebook)

I love Josh Hutcherson. I was excited to see his name among the write-in nominees although I have to admit, I wasn’t terribly surprised. With Liam Hemsworth doing so well in the vote, it wasn’t shocking to see his Hunger Games co-star getting a little love too. I have a feeling Josh is going to do pretty well in the vote although I’ve been wrong before. If you want to see Josh take the win, make sure you vote for him!

Candy Candidate Number Seven: Nathan Fillion (My Nominee)

Nathan is the reason there are seven candidates this week instead of six. I didn’t see the nomination for Chris Hemsworth until I was preparing this post so I didn’t know there was a third write in nomination. Needing a sixth nominee, I decided to nominate someone I have been meaning to nominate for a long time – one of my personal favorites – Mr. Nathan Fillion. When I saw that, yes, there was another write-in, I couldn’t bring myself to cut Nathan out so here he is.

So now you know who’s on the poll. It’s time to talk about voting. You can vote as many times as you’d like and voting is one hundred percent free. You aren’t even required to sign up for anything. Great news, right? I’ve decided not to open the poll to write in nominations just yet. I’m going to stick to the way I did things last week. There weren’t quite as many write-in nominations but there weren’t nearly as many issues with the poll either. In case this is your first week with us, here’s how our poll works:

You can choose one of the men on our Candy Candidates poll and vote as many times as you like but you can also nominate someone for next week’s poll. There are a few rules for write-ins so here they are in point form:

• A man cannot win a Man Candy Monday profile more than once so check the list below the poll before you choose to nominate someone. Each winner’s name is a link you can click on to see their Man Candy profile.
• Write ins can only be submitted by commenting on this post or via Twitter or Facebook (links below).
• Don’t be spammy and bombard me with nominations for the same person. Nominations do not count as votes. Your nomination will get your candidate on next week’s poll where you can vote for him to your heart’s content. If enough people like or RT a nomination, I’ll add that candidate to the poll but they must be unique likes and retweets to count as a vote toward inclusion on the poll. We want to be fair.
