Before we even get started I want to send a big thank you to everyone who voted last week. More people participated in the vote last week than ever before and by a fairly wide margin. One thing was clear by the time the polls closed. People love Josh Dallas and let me tell you this, that did my bitter heart good. I love this man. I put him on the poll a few weeks back but he didn’t get the votes he needed to stick around. This week, however? It was a total landslide. Josh took the win with an astounding 71.72% of the votes. His closest competition was Ryan Gosling who finished in a very distant second place with 10.66. Not so far behind him we had our third place finisher, Michael Trevino who earned 7.38%. Michael Pitt was hot on Trevino’s heels landing in fourth place with 6.97. Ryan Gosling, Michael Trevino and Michael Pitt move on to this week’s poll where they’ll be kept company by three all new candidates.

Edward Norton sadly ends his run this week. He landed in fifth place and garnered only 1.64% of the votes in the end. He did slightly better than my personal nomination from last week, Craig David who only earned 0.82% of the end total. He tied with the two write-in nominees who will be added to the poll this week, Supernatural‘s Misha Collins and Josh’s former Once Upon a Time costar, Jamie Dornan. Candy Candidate One: Ryan Gosling

Ryan Gosling has made several appearances on our Candy Candidates poll. This last week, he returned as a write-in nominee and garnered enough votes to stick around another week. Will he be able to take the win this week? Only time will tell. If you want him to win, make sure you vote!

 Candy Candidate Two: Michael Trevino

I find it a little hard to believe that Michael hasn’t yet been able to take a win in our Candy Candidate poll consider how super sexy he is and especially considering how dedicated The Vampire Diaries fans are. Perhaps this will be his week. I have to admit, I’m rooting for him. While Michael’s Tyler Lockwood may not be my favorite man on the show (an honor that goes to Joseph Morgan’s beautifully evil, Klaus) but he’s definitely one of the sexiest.

 Candy Candidate Three: Michael Pitt

If I have a horse in this race, it’s gotta be Michael Pitt. I’ve been madly in lust with this man since Hawk Is Dying and that love has only grown since then. I’m thrilled he’s been able to stick around this long and would love to see him take the win. Perhaps this will be his week.

 Candy Candidate Four: Jamie Dornan

I squealed with delight – I’m not even kidding – when I saw Jamie Donan’s name appear among the write in candidates. I love this guy. He’s sexy, talented and unbelievably charming. I’m thrilled to be able to include him on this list. While I’m rooting for Michael Pitt, I’m hoping Jamie can at least get enough votes to return next week. If he takes the win, that’d be just fine with me as well. It’s just great to see this terribly underrated actor/model getting the recognition he deserves.

 Candy Candidate Number Five: Misha Collins

I’m a little surprised more Supernatural cast members haven’t found their way to write in nominations on this poll because that is one good looking cast. Regardless, I’m still absolutely thrilled to see Misha get the first write in nomination from the show. He’s absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a Man Candy profile.

Candy Candidate Number Six: Joshua Bowman

I am very late to the game on Revenge. I only started catching up on the show while it was on winter hiatus and I’m totally hooked now. Joshua Bowman is without a doubt one of the sexiest men on television and it’s my honor and my pleasure to introduce him to the poll this week.

Okay, now you know your candidates so it’s time to talk about the poll. Last week there were a few issues with people writing in candidates who have won in the past. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again. We’re not People Magazine. We don’t give the same award to the same man twice. Writing in someone who has already won will not get them another profile. Instead, the tally will just get all messed up and I’ll just get cranky. Please be careful. It happened enough last week that I had to reset the results so, a reminder:
