Early in the week, I had a pretty good feeling this week’s winner was going to be sexy Aussie, Alex O’Loughlin and as it turns out, I was right. He was ahead by a pretty wide margin all week and that is just fine with me. It’s always nice to get the chance to profile a man who doesn’t get nearly enough praise. The man is gorgeous, talented and a perfect fit for Man Candy. As much as I’d love to write about Alex a little more, it’s time to move on to this week’s poll. There are a few candidates returning from last week thanks to your votes. While Alex won with an impressive 33.33% of your votes, Josh Dallas did well too, taking second place with 20.83%. Michael Pitt and Michael Trevino weren’t terribly far behind, sharing third place with 20.83% each.  Edward Norton’s back again this week after finishing in fourth place with 8.33% of your votes. In fifth place, we have a write-in candidate who has actually been on the poll a few times before but has yet to garner the votes needed to stick around, the lovely and talented, Ryan Gosling. His write-in nominations earned him 4.17% of the votes and another shot at the win. Male model, David Gandy will not be returning on this week’s poll as he sadly failed to earn any votes this week, coming in last with 0%. This one hurts. I won’t lie. Candy Candidate Number One: Josh Dallas

Josh has appeared on our Candy Candidate poll a few times and with his show, Once Upon a Time, back on the air, I think this could be his week to win. I really like Josh and hey, anyone cute enough to play the fabled Prince Charming has to be cute enough to get a few votes thrown his way, right?

Candy Candidate Number Two: Michael Pitt

I won’t even lie. I’m absolutely thrilled Michael is back again for another week. My reasons are entirely selfish of course. I want to do a Man Candy profile on his so badly. He’s absolutely beautiful in such an unconventional way and that appeals to me. It doesn’t hurt that he’s also incredibly talented. He’s been on the poll for the last few weeks now. I’m crossing my fingers for him this week.

Candy Candidate Number Three: Michael Trevino

It seems almost shameful that Michael hasn’t taken a win in this competition yet. I’m positive that’s not far away though. Should he win, he’d be the fourth member of The Vampire Diaries cast to win their own Man Candy profile.  Check out the profiles for the others (Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley and Joseph Morgan) by scrolling to the bottom of this post and clicking on the actor’s name.

Candy Candidate Number Four: Edward Norton

Edward Norton is a brilliant actor and a gorgeous man. When he got his write-in nomination I was a little surprised but thrilled all the same. Although he barely got through to this week’s poll, I’m confident he’ll take the win one of these weeks. He’s just too awesome not to and awesome counts for a lot.

 Candy Candidate Number Five: Ryan Gosling

Ryan was out only write-in nominee this week but I’m not sure a better man could’ve been nominated. I love everything about Ryan. Doing a profile on him would be an honor and a treat. Although Ryan hasn’t fared well on these polls in the past, I’m hoping for good things this week. Even if he doesn’t win, it’d be nice to see him stick around for another shot.

 Candy Candidate Number Six: Craig David

I love Craig David. He’s everything I look for in a Candy Candidate – gorgeous, talented and unique. For all those reasons and many more, I’ve chosen Craig as my personal Candy Candidate this week. While I’m rooting for Pitt, it’d be pretty awesome to see Craig take the win as well and I’d have a blast doing his profile.
