I wouldn’t exactly call our last Candy Candidates poll a close race but it’s certainly been closer than the voting in recent weeks. Revenge‘s Nick Wechsler took the win with 52.1% of the vote – more than enough to earn him a Man Candy Monday profile. You can check it out by clicking here. Coming in a second was Justified star Timothy Olyphant who was followed closely by Twilight‘s Jackson Rathbone who took 8.4% of the vote for a distant third place finish. Not far behind Jackson? Boardwalk Empire‘s dearly departed Michael Pitt who garnered 7.9% of your votes with Criminal Mind‘s Matthew Gray Gubler hot on his heels with 7016%. Next, we had your write in candidates (Wilson Bethel, who can’t win, unfortunately as he was our previous Man Candy honoree, Geoff Stults, Nick’s Revenge co-star, Gabriel Mann and Wilson’s Hart of Dixie co-star, Cress Williams) who earned a combined 0.99% of your votes. Nick’s Revenge co-star, Joshua Bowman, landed in last place with only 0.74% of your total votes. So who got enough votes to make it onto this week’s poll along with your write ins and who have I bent the rules a little to add to the poll? Find out after the jump.

Candy Candidates Number One: Timothy Olyphant (Returning Nominee)

Timothy Olyphant has been on our Candy Candidates poll for the last few weeks now and each time he seems to move closer to a win. Could this be his week? I’d like to say I hope to but honestly, this is a tough week and I’m not sure who I’m rooting for here. I wouldn’t be upset to see Timothy win though. I’m been a ginormous fan of Mr. Olyphant’s since Scream 2 so I’d love to do a profile on him. It’s in your hands. If you want him to win, make sure you vote!

 Candy Candidate Number Two: Jackson Rathbone (Returning Nominee)

I love, love, love Jackson Rathbone. There is just something about this guy that sends my heart racing. He’s my favorite Twilight cast member and I’d love to see him take the win here. At the same time, as with Timothy, I can’t really say he’s my favorite Candy Candidate on this week’s poll. It’s a good and agonizing week. Some of the guys on this week’s poll won’t make it to next week’s poll and only one will take the win. Again, it’s all up to you.

Candy Candidate Number Three: Michael Pitt (Returning Nominee)

Michael Pitt has had a strange run on the Candy Candidates poll. He was here for several weeks a while back but was eventually out voted and made his exit. Then he returned last week as a write in. To be honest, if I had to pick a favorite, Michael would be damn close to that top of the list. He’s not typical and that appeals to me on so many levels. At the same time, all of the guy’s on this week’s poll are unique in their own ways. No idea. I’d like to see Michael at least stick around for next week though.

Candy Candidate Number Four: Geoff Stults (Write-In Nominee)

Every now and then someone is nominated for the Candy Candidates poll and I’m stunned I hadn’t thought to include them sooner. This is the case with Geoff Stults. How freaking adorable is he? I love Geoff. I’ve loved him in so many things but for some reason, never thought to include him on the poll. Geoff is a perfect example of why we have write in nominees although to be fair, I can say the exact same thing for the other two write in nominees on this week’s poll.

Candy Candidate Number Five: Gabriel Mann (Write-In Nominee)

Gabriel Mann is freaking amazing on Revenge and I was thrilled – absolutely ecstatic - to see his name on the write-ins list. I love this guy. Those eyes of his – so gorgeous. While this week meant saying goodbye to Gabriel’s Revenge co-star Josh Bowman, the pain of Josh’s departure was made a little easier by Gabriel’s inclusion. If he doesn’t take the win, I at least hope he’ll be on next week’s Candy Candidates poll.

 Candy Candidate Number Six: Cress Williams (Write-In Nominee)

Words can’t express how much I love Cress Williams. He’s sexy, charismatic and just happens to have a role on one of my favorite shows of the moment, Hart of Dixie. I’ve been a big Cress Williams fan since he days on Nash Bridges and I was absolutely gobsmacked I hadn’t thought to put him on the poll. Again, this is why we allow write-ins. I’d love to see Cress here next week either at the top of the post as the winner or down here as a returning nominee.

 Candy Candidate Number Seven: Tom Payne (My Rule Breaker Nominee)

Okay so I’ve only had more than six nominees on the Candy Candidates poll a few times before and it was always to accommodate a higher than usual number of write-in nominees. This week is different because I effing love Tom Payne and am irate Luck was cancelled, robbing me of my chance to see this beautiful man on my television every week. I wrote a whole post about the whole Luck cancellation (I am a huge animal rights supporter but come on, there had to have been a way to continue with the show) but it was a little too ragey and sweary to publish so I decided to put Tom on my Candy Candidates poll. I love every other man on this poll but secretly, I’m really rooting for Tom to take this one.

Okay, you know you’re Candidates. Let’s talk voting. You can vote as often as you like for as many different Candidates as you’d like and write-ins are welcome but there is ONE RULE. Please do not write in a nomination for someone who has already won. If you’ve come here looking for NICK WECHSLER, he is this week’s winner and his winning profile can be viewed by clicking HERE.
