So over the course of the last week, I’ve been following this little breaking story TMZ’s been running about American Idol contestant Jermaine Jones and what appears to be a bit of a fudged back story. I wasn’t really going to bother saying anything about it because I tend to take contestant back stories with a grain of salt anyway. Let’s not forget the whole Stacey Francis drama from The X-Factor last season. I don’t watch Idol for the sob stories. I watch for the talent. But for those of you who missed the Jermaine drama, let me give you a quick rundown of what’s been happening with the “Gentle Giant” this week.
