Johnny and Vanessa Split? Don't Be So Sure!

There is really no single reason I love Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis as a couple as much as I do although I’m sure it does have a lot to do with how much I love both Johnny and Vanessa separately. They’re two very gorgeous and very talented people who have always seemed to be so in love. When rumors that they’d broken up first surfaced, I wrote a post saying I’d wait for confirmation to believe the news (read it here) and it appears I somehow missed that confirmation. Wonderful Twilight news to share with you all today – Jackson Rathbone (perhaps better known as pale vamp Jasper Cullen) and his girlfriend, Reckless Dames burlesque dancer (and smoking hot babe) Sheila Hafsadi are expecting their first child together. Jackson, 27, met his lady while he was performing with his ridiculously awesome band 100 Monkeys. Sheila is said to be five months along. Photo gallery of the parents to be after the jump.

I’ve been holding off on throwing my opinion into the mix on this one because, quite frankly, I really don’t want it to be true. Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis were one of the few Hollywood couples I thought would be together forever. Naive? Sure, but the way they’ve always spoken about each other really made me feel them as a couple. Johnny has said Vanessa is the only person that is able to pull him out of his ‘dark moods’ and that Vanessa made him believe in love at first sight. They were romantic. They were beautiful. They were a golden couple. But are they done? Well, let’s look at what people are saying.

So you can just go ahead and color me shocked on this one. Earlier today, Jersey Shore‘s resident pickle loving drunken mess Snooki decided she just didn’t care about all that face paint and poof straightening and snapped a picture of herself with barely a stitch of makeup on her face (looks to me like maybe some eyeliner and lip gloss may have been applied).  Not that big of a deal really until you add in the fact that she then took the additional step of tweeting the pic to her disturbingly large number of Twitter followers.
