I’m going to admit something I don’t often admit. This week’s “Meet the Candy Candidates” is going to be a little half assed. Why? I spent far, far too long on my Jared Leto profile. I was excited to see that he came in on top but also a little intimidated. I have been bat-poop crazy over this guy since I was twelve years old. I had about a million things I wanted to say and a million pictures I wanted to post. Check out Jared’s profile on World of Female (click here) for a complete filmography, discography, vital stats and more than 300 pictures. Yup – this was a big one. Okay, on to this week.

We have four men returning from last week’s poll thanks to your votes. While Jared took the win with 22.5% of the vote, model David Gandy and Boardwalk Empire‘s Michael Pitt weren’t far behind, tying for second with 17.5%. We also had a three way tie for third with Edward Norton and Michael Trevino getting a combined 15%. Rounding out our poll, we have two newcomers thanks to your write-in love with Alex O’Loughlin and Josh Dallas who landed a combined 12.5 percent of the vote. Elliot Cowen, despite being a write-in from last week failed to garner a single vote, landing in last place with 0%. So, do you want to see some pictures and vote for your favorite? Can we just take a moment or two to enjoy the ridiculous gorgeousness that is reigning Man Candy Champ, Mr. Taylor Kitsch? Okay, moving on. Entering last week’s poll as a write in nominee, he took the win by a very, very narrow margin – winning with just 28.57% of the vote. He bested runner up, Jared Leto who garnered 23.81% of the vote. Edward Norton shares third place with 14.29% of the vote, the same number of votes our three write in nominees received combined. Falling just short of moving on to this week’s poll was Matthew McConaughey who took 9.52% of the votes to come in fifth. Tying for sixth, we had Twilight stars Kellan Lutz and Taylor Lautner – two write in nominees from last week – who each got 4.76% of the voter love. So who’s in the running this week? We have two candidates moving forward from last week’s poll, three write in candidates and my own personal nomination rounding out the six person poll.
