If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time, you probably know I am slightly, a little bit, completely in love with The CW’s Hart of Dixie so I’ve kind of been sweating The CW’s cancellation/renewal announcements because, quite honestly, it wasn’t looking great for Hart. The ratings haven’t been spectacular and sometimes in the TV game, the ratings are all that matter. Luckily that does not seem to be the cast with The CW because it has just been announced that my beloved Turtle Derby show will be back for another season. I’ll be updating again later tomorrow with more news about this season’s cancellations and renewals as well as some suggested watching for those of you interested but for now, I just wanted to revel in this wonderful moment.

This Week's Man Candy, Mr. Cress Williams

It has been a long, long time folks but we’re back now and we’re off to a darn good start with this week’s Man Candy, Hart of Dixie star Cress Williams. Cress is the second Hart of Dixie cast member to take a Man Candy win and I can’t even lie. That makes me giddy in many, many ways. This Week's Man Candy Monday honoree, Nick Wechsler

I wouldn’t exactly call our last Candy Candidates poll a close race but it’s certainly been closer than the voting in recent weeks. Revenge‘s Nick Wechsler took the win with 52.1% of the vote – more than enough to earn him a Man Candy Monday profile. You can check it out by clicking here. Coming in a second was Justified star Timothy Olyphant who was followed closely by Twilight‘s Jackson Rathbone who took 8.4% of the vote for a distant third place finish. Not far behind Jackson? Boardwalk Empire‘s dearly departed Michael Pitt who garnered 7.9% of your votes with Criminal Mind‘s Matthew Gray Gubler hot on his heels with 7016%. Next, we had your write in candidates (Wilson Bethel, who can’t win, unfortunately as he was our previous Man Candy honoree, Geoff Stults, Nick’s Revenge co-star, Gabriel Mann and Wilson’s Hart of Dixie co-star, Cress Williams) who earned a combined 0.99% of your votes. Nick’s Revenge co-star, Joshua Bowman, landed in last place with only 0.74% of your total votes. This Week's Man Candy: Wilson Bethel

I’m sort of racing against time on this week’s Candy Candidates post so I apologize for the somewhat half-assed nature of this post. My internet connection is being a knob (stupid snow) so yeah… let’s go! Last week’s poll was thrilling for me because my favorite nominee took the win by a mile. Wilson Bethel (view his Man Candy Monday post by clicking here) took a whopping 77.2% of the vote, even after a last minute surge in votes for second place finisher Matthew Gray Gubler who wound up with 10.76% of your votes. There was a tie for third place with Revenge‘s Nick Wechsler and Josh Bowman each getting 5.09% leaving Wilson’s Hart of Dixie co-star Scott Porter a distant fifth with 0.98%, just ahead of our write-in nominees (Boardwalk Empire‘s Michael Pitt, Justified‘s Timothy Olyphant and Twilight‘s Jackson Rathbone) who shared 0.59% of the vote. Finally, Criminal Minds star Shemar Moore finished last with only .2%. Have to admit, I find that last one a bit surprising but I guess that’s the way things go. So which of last week’s contestants are back for another shot at the title this week along with your write ins? Read on to find out.

This Week's Man Candy: Jamie Dornan

Last week’s poll was an exciting one to watch. One candidate would be in the lead one moment and a new candidate would be in the lead the next. In the end though, it was Once Upon a Time‘s dearly departed Jamie Dornan that took home the win. If you’ve been following Man Candy Monday over the last few weeks, Jamie’s win probably doesn’t come as a huge surprise as he’s performed well in the last several polls, but this week he finally earned enough votes to take home the prize. It wasn’t a landslide though with Jamie taking 31.58% of the vote with Hart of Dixie‘s Wilson Bethel not far behind with 26.32%. The leap to third was a bit bigger but not much with Revenge‘s Nick Wechsler taking home 21.05%. Criminal Minds‘ Shemar Moore landed in fourth place with 10.53% of your votes while Benedict Cumberbatch and Timothy Olyphant tied for fifth with 5.26% of the vote each. I am more than a little obsessed with The CW’s Hart of Dixie. Rachel Bilson? Please! She’s adorable. Wilson Bethel should be shirtless twenty-four hours a day. Jaime King? That girl can act her butt off and is that stunning? Scott Porter? So handsome. So charismatic. Cress Williams? So gorgeous and oh so very charming. There is nothing about this show I’m not absolutely in love with … except the whole Wade and Zoe not hooking up thing. I nearly threw my coffee mug through my television when Wade chickened out when he had the chance to tell Zoe how he felt. So is he going to come to his senses or will someone else get to her first? Judging by the above cast photo, I’d say Wade’s chances are pretty good. Not so suggests another promo photo released for upcoming February sweeps. Read on for more.
