Can we just take a moment or two to enjoy the ridiculous gorgeousness that is reigning Man Candy Champ, Mr. Taylor Kitsch? Okay, moving on. Entering last week’s poll as a write in nominee, he took the win by a very, very narrow margin – winning with just 28.57% of the vote. He bested runner up, Jared Leto who garnered 23.81% of the vote. Edward Norton shares third place with 14.29% of the vote, the same number of votes our three write in nominees received combined. Falling just short of moving on to this week’s poll was Matthew McConaughey who took 9.52% of the votes to come in fifth. Tying for sixth, we had Twilight stars Kellan Lutz and Taylor Lautner – two write in nominees from last week – who each got 4.76% of the voter love. So who’s in the running this week? We have two candidates moving forward from last week’s poll, three write in candidates and my own personal nomination rounding out the six person poll. As always, more write ins are welcome. Just make sure you check out the list at the very end of this post (directly below the poll) to make sure the man you want to nominate hasn’t already been featured. We had a good week this week folks! After coming in either second or third places for the last few weeks, sexy Mike Vogel took the win this week with 29.03% of the vote. Make sure you head over to World of Female to see his full profile featuring a full filmography and 70+ pictures. Coming in a close second though was The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley, with 27.42%.  Idris Elba came in a distant but still respectable third with 17.74%  with Grey Damon hot on his heels with 16.13.%. Of our actual candidates, Wilson Bethel came in fifth (3.23%) and Josh Dallas came in sixth (1.61%) but write in candidates Jared Leto and Ryan Reynolds teamed up in the ‘other’ category to beat both Wilson and Josh.

Because of the write in votes and my desire to give people what they want, we’ll be saying goodbye to Grey Damon, Wilson Bethel and Josh Dallas this week but if one of those men is your favorite man candy, you always have the option of writing in a nomination to get them back on the poll. Paul Wesley and Idris Elba will carry over to this week’s poll along with Jared Leto and Ryan Reynolds and I’ll round out the poll with two brand new nominees, both from the forthcoming film, Magic Mike. This week’s vote was one of the closest yet. Matt Bomer won it in the end with 25.93% of the vote followed closely by runner up Mike Vogel with 22.22%. Paul Wesley came in third with 18.52% just in the lead of Jared Leto and Ryan Reynolds who tied for fourth with 14.81%. Justin Timberlake brought up the rear, landing in fifth place with a rather sad 3.7%. Matt Bomer was a lot of fun to do a profile on, mainly because it was a wonderful excuse to stare at pictures of him for the better part of my Sunday afternoon, but now it’s time to focus on this week’s votes.

I’m going to carry Mike Vogel and Paul Wesley forward once again but Jared Leto, Ryan Reynolds and Justin Timberlake will be left behind. Remember, you can always write in your nomination so if you think Jared, Ryan or JT got shorted, write them in again and I’ll put them on next week’s poll again. Fancy someone else? Nominate them! Thrilled does not even begin to cover how excited I was to see Aaron Eckhart take the win in last week’s poll. The man is absolutely gorgeous and beyond that, incredibly talented. It was a very tight race with Aaron taking the win by only one vote winding up with a mere 31.25% of the vote. In the closest race we’ve seen in a while, Paul Wesley and Mike Vogel tied for second place with 25% of the vote each with another tie for third seeing Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Michael C. Hall and Cam Gigandet taking 6.25% each.

Because it was such a tight race, I decided to only carry two men, Paul and Mike, forward to this week’s vote. Voting for the same contestants week after week is no fun. If you want to see Maksim, Michael or Cam on next week’s poll, you can always nominate them using the ‘other’ option. So, who joins Paul Wesley and Mike Vogel on this week’s Man Candy poll? I was a little surprised to see British actor and model Alex Pettyfer take the win in the last poll but it was a very pleasant kind of surprise. I love Alex but I wasn’t entirely sure he had the name recognition to compete with The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley or Dexter Morgan himself, Michael C. Hall. To be fair, the competition was stiff, making choosing this week’s candidates a bit easier. While Alex won with 34.21% of the vote, runner up Maksim Chmerkovskiy wasn’t far behind with 28.95%. The race for third was a bit wider with Michael C. Hall taking the spot with 18.42% and Paul Wesley following close on his heels to take fourth spot with 15.79%. Ryan Kwanten took fifth place with 2.6% with poor Lenny Kravitz coming in last with 0%. Ouch.

So what do all the numbers mean? First it was pretty easy to come up with my candidates for this week’s poll with Maksim, Michael and Paul all getting the required percentage to get another crack at the title. Unfortunately for Ryan and Lenny, that wasn’t the case and two more names have been added to the poll in their place. So who else made the list this week? Find out after the jump.
